Yaeram PARK is born in Seoul in 1996. She started the flute at the age of 8. In 2004, she moved with her family to Bangkok and studied with a full music scholarship at the Shrewsbury International School in Thailand and passed the grade 8 flute of ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) with distinction at the age of 10.
In 2010, at the age of 13, she got the DEM (Le Diplôme d'études musicales) unanimously at CRR de Saint-Maur and after 2 years, got the DEMS (Le Diplôme d'études musicales supérieur) in perfectionnement-concertiste level, unanimously at CRR de Paris. She passed with 1st prize unanimously the entrance exam and got DNSPM (Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien) and her master degree diploma at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP).
From 2005, for 2 years, she got 1st prize at 9 important competitions in Korea and was chosen by The Music Journal Magazine as “A very bright prospect flutist in this year”. From 2008 to 2010, she got 1st prize at Concours Européen de musique en Picardie, at Le Parnass competition, at Jeunesses International Music Competition and at Concours International du Jeune Flûtiste. She got 5th prize at Beijing International Flute Music Competition (2012), the “Rookie of the year award” from The Music Association of Korea (2013), 3rd prize (2nd prize not awarded) in International Flute Competition Krakow (2014), 3rd prize at Carl Nielsen International Competition and 2nd prize at Concours International de Maxence Larrieu-Nice (2015).
Since her debut recital, at the age of 9, in Thailand, she performed with Russian Symphony Orchestra in Moscow and performed at the ceremony of UN World Human Rights Days concert, where Ban Ki-Moon attended. In 2008, she performed with Bangkok Symphony Orchestra at the National Theater of Korea and in 2009 with Chuncheon Symphony Orchestra. Moreover in 2012, she had a recital at Korean Cultural Center in Paris and had concert tour (France, Korea and Thailand) with Michel Moragues. In 2013, she was invited to play at the 31th Korea International Music Festival with Seong-Nam Philharmonic Orchestra under Soo-Yeoul CHOI (in Seoul Art Center-Concert hall). Also, she was a guest member at the Orchestre National de France in 2016 and gave concerts at Festival Pablo Casals. She is member of Association Jeunes Talents in France.
She is now working as principal flutist at Avignon Symphony Orchestra in France and studying at Paris-Sorbonne University. She studied with professor Hiroshi Matsushima, Philippe Lesgourgues, Claude Lefebvre, Michel Moragues, Sophie Cherrier and Vincent Lucas.
